Have you been wanting to get in shape, but aren’t sure of where or how to start? If so, then this is the page for you. Many people struggle with fitness, and are afraid to start either because they are embarrassed to walk into the gym for the first time, or because they aren’t sure of how to perform an exercise correctly. My goal is to teach you the proper way to perform an exercise, but also to give you workout options that you can take to the gym with you. A year and a half ago, I was just like you; I wanted to get fit, but I had no idea what I needed to do to get there. I didn’t want to walk into the gym cluelessly because I didn’t want to embarrass myself, so I started to research. I have watched just about every video out there on how to perfect certain lifts, I have read almost every article, and as I got further into lifting, I began talking to professionals to make sure that I was performing an exercise properly. As I said, I am just like you. I personally am not a professional, but I have learned so much about lifting in the past year and a half – so now I want to share what I have learned with you. I want to show you that there is no reason to be afraid of lifting. We all need to start somewhere, and if I was able to get myself to the gym those first few times, then so can you. Here you will be able to learn all about the fundamentals of lifting, how to get over that fear of going to the gym, and finally feel comfortable enough to confidently walk into a gym and say “I can do this”.
